This position is located in Vernon British Columbia Canada. The tekmar Technical Sales Manager is responsible for creating, developing and executing growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans with the channel partners to expand and grow the business. This position will manage the sales channel, identify new channel opportunities for the different product lines, create clear communications in support of the strategies and ensure proper training of the channel is in place. Activities will include sales management, training of processes and products/solutions, customer relationships, business development, pricing strategies, promotional programs, contract development and maintaining the sales opportunity funnel.


? Establishes and maintains the sales channel to best fit the growth requirements for the business

? Develops the representatives and channel partners to ensure proper understanding of the product line, processes, sales opportunities, support services, resources needed, and strategies.

? Understanding sales channels, customers? needs and competitor landscape

? Participates in the creation of annual sales plans, forecasts, and executes plans to meet or exceed AOP (Annual Operating Plans) targets.

? Create and implement business initiatives to trigger growth and collaborate with the regional sales managers to ensure communication and strategies are clear.

? Manages sales programs and marketing efforts

? Manages and maintains customer contracts with representatives and OEMs

? Provide input to marketing, product management, product development and technical support to create leading edge products and services.

? Achieve industry-leading satisfaction via best in class training, coaching and developing.

? Helps customers select the equipment they require based on product offering

? Attend trade shows and industry events as required to represent products in the marketplace

? Work with other business platforms to form synergies with the Watts product portfolio.

? Be the voice of customer and promote a customer centric mindset.

? Review and support pricing strategies by collaborating with product management

Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with technical expertise.


No direct reports


? 5-7 years of regional, national, or outside sales experience

? Extensive sales management experience in the HVAC industry

? Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy with manufacturers? representatives, wholesalers or OEMs

? Success in implementing and leveraging CRM systems to grow existing accounts/relationships and to develop new customers.

? Demonstrate ability to simply communicate complex concepts into a compelling and concise message

? Demonstrate strong business acumen in using financial reporting tools

? Demonstrate strong technical competency in HVAC applications and sales

? Proven ability to negotiate complex and strategic contracts

? Embraces and is motivated by change

? Willing to train to become proficient in hydronic heating and cooling applications


? ?Able to travel into the US and Europe (Up to 40%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
