The Senior Manager, Warehouse, Distribution, and Logistics is responsible for oversight of the receipt, samplings, storage, foreign trade zone, shipment, and disposal of all materials required for support of Mount Vernon operations. Responsible for the management and development of permanent and temporary employees. Assesses warehouse space utilization and requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage warehouse and logistics & distribution support manager. Develop plans for current training needs and future growth. Monitor and evaluate the performance of department employees, grant merit increases and make promotion and termination recommendations in accordance with established company policies.
Manage, develop, coach, and motivate people in the department by providing short term objectives and long-term planning which combines the goals of the individuals, department, and corporation. Utilize the AZ Performance Management System to support these efforts.
Support and demonstrate AstraZeneca Leadership objectives through word and action.
Responsible for team-building and communications within Warehousing and Logistics.
Oversee the logistics and distribution support group development and implementation of route risk assessments and the monthly review of temperature excursion data.
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are in place and are being measured for the warehouse and logistics groups. Individualize these KPIs, where appropriate, for employees to draw the line of sight between the company and individual goals.
Manage receiving, sampling, storing, and shipping of materials efficiently and according to schedule.
Manage current year budget. Plan future infrastructure and budget requirements. Partner with Engineering for capital projects for Warehousing and Logistics, including acting as project manager as required.
Ensure adequate availability of pertinent warehouse facilities and equipment requirements for material handling, shipping, and storing.
Ensure proper training of departmental personnel and ensure proper procedures and techniques are being utilized in accordance with cGMP's, OSHA, DOT, FDA, and DEA regulations.
Review all SOP's annually, rewrite as required and write new SOP's to document new responsibilities.
Use IS/IT and technology to improve service and reduce costs.
Maintain strong communications with AstraZeneca US Corporate Distribution and Logistics Departments to ensure proper coordination for flow of products and adherence to corporate policies in these areas.
Manage support of all departments concerning any warehouse and distribution issues.
Support Corporate Supply Chain Operations with the goal of ensuring excellent customer service to AstraZeneca end customers.
Lead or participate on interdepartmental and intercompany projects as required.
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
At least 5 years previous experience in Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Logistics Management.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of cGMPs and OSHA requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills - verbal, written, and presentational.
Must have experience managing people.
Strong customer service focus.
Experience with AstraZeneca products.
Knowledge of SAP and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of DEA regulations beneficial.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
