Clinical Psychologist

Rebecca School is a developmental program that utilizes the DIRFloortime method, a relationship-based model of teaching instruction developed by Dr.
Stanley Greenspan.
Rebecca School is opening a new location in Mount Vernon, NY for the 2024 school year and is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work with students age 3 to 21 with neurodevelopmental delays in relating, communicating and thinking.
The Clinical Psychologist will join a multidisciplinary team of treatment providers in a highly clinical school setting that places respect and dignity for all individuals at the fore of its mission.
Rebecca School North is an expansion of the Rebecca School in NYC after 18 successful years of serving students with neurodevelopment delays in relating and communicating.
Pay Range is $80,000 to $90,000 depending on degree and experience (based on a 12-month position).
RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Maintain a caseload of clients for counseling Family counseling, support and education Classroom consultation Crisis management Perform and supervise psychological assessments Prepare written reports identifying the student's needs and proposed treatment strategies, goals and objectives; maintain progress records Participate on the IRB committee and in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings, clinical team meetings and Greenspan meetings Provide psychoeducational training to staff as needed Social/Emotional curriculum development Maintain professional competence by attending staff development programs and continuing education programs Training and supervision of Psychology students QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU BRING Ph.
D/Psy.
