We are currently seeking a Permanent Concrete Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a solid background in concrete, masonry, drywall, construction, commercial, and renovation projects.
The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all stages of concrete construction and renovation projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1.
Supervise and oversee all aspects of concrete construction and renovation projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
2.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
3.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project requirements are met.
4.
Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
5.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
6.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe work environment.
7.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction problems to maintain project schedule.
8.
Prepare and submit project reports, and communicate any issues or delays to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
2.
Proven experience in concrete, masonry, drywall, construction, commercial, and renovation projects.
3.
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
4.
Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
6.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
7.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
9.
Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
10.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
11.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
