The Engineering Helper This position will include routine maintenance duties around the facility.
A successful candidate will have plumbing, electrical and painting experience.
Performs maintenance on all building systems equipment.
Completes maintenance requests from the facility operations manager in a timely manner.
Assists with basic repairs.
Works from written and oral instructions from the Director of Facility Operations or designate and only emergency calls from facility supervisory personnel.
Requirements:
Position requires basic technical proficiency in the maintenance trades.
The ability to perform seven hours of manual labor per assigned shift.
To include related activities such as lifting in excess of 80 pounds (i.
e.
, salt bags, furniture, full trash containers, etc.
), climbing (i.
e.
ladders, in trees), walking and pulling.
